Re: Need a new boiler, has anyone on here used Boxt?

Ted - Yeah leave it if it's fine.
Ours I think is around 15 we didn't install, but is leaking.
All parts seem to be discontinued but getable, but who wants to be without hot water and heating while you search for them.. Going to be a money drain

Our boiler is the original 38 years old and only had a new pump !!! Maybe we'll leave well alone.

After my old Baxi lasted me 16 years a few leaks I decided to get rid of the old chugger... Had my new boiler fitted a week now... Ideal independent 30 combi with remote thermostat ... £1700.00 cash in hand... MATES rates (he owns a heating supply company)... however I did take the cupboard casing down for them so that probably shaved a tenner off.... oh yeah that's my next job.

Straight swap out for a regular boiler for a standard home shouldn't be more than £2.5k

We've been quoted between £3k & 3.5k by our local plumber but he is very good as he's done work for us before.
